There are many nonprofits that are doing great for their causes but some take the heat for others building a bad reputation. I admire nonprofits who are serving their missions without interruptions and thriving to be the best at all times. It's a lot of work that should be done on a daily basis to move forward and creating fundraising events that is essential to nonprofits. No one is greater to make a difference in a person's life more than nonprofits, the smallest act of kindness is important and memorable.
Nonprofits have to constantly keep up with their marketing and advertising just like for-profit businesses there are no exceptions to the rule. When you have to evacuate your home from a fire, The Red Cross will come to your rescue, and if you have other disasters other nonprofits will pitch in and save the day.
Indeed, fundraising is a requirement for nonprofits to survive, serve their mission and have good money management.
Nevertheless, charities are NOT BEGGING, when they ask for donations, it's a must that continuation to ask for funding and they are not in their causes to earn a profit like for-profit businesses, they are passionate about a need in the world and their communities that need to be addressed in a timely fashion.
Kudos to nonprofits and I hope more and more are created to make a difference in others lives. ;-)
